The purpose of this compilation of packages is to have a handy subset of
from the med-bio metapackage which contains a lot more than only phylogeny
related software.

which might be helpful for dentists to manage their practice.
- Epidemiology -
Debian Med epidemiology related packages

This metapackage will install tools that are useful in epidemiological
research. Several packages making use of the GNU R data language for
statistical investigation. It might be a good idea to read the paper

- Hospital information systems -
Debian Med suggestions for Hospital Information Systems

Currently Debian Med does not yet contain any software which can be
regarded as Hospital Information System. There is some Free Software
out there which might be interesting targets for inclusion into Debian
and so we provide a list of these projects which might be included
at a later point in time provided somebody is willing to take over
the packaging work.

Цей збірний пакунок встановить програмне забезпечення для Debian, що може
стати в нагоді для обробки медичної графічної інформації.
Буде встановлено декілька пакунків, які підтримують DICOM (Digital Imaging
and Communications in Medicine), який є стандартом де-факто у керуванні
медичною інформацією. Стандарт визначає структури даних та служби обміну
медичними зображеннями та іншими даними. Останній випуск був у 2008 році і
складався з 18 частин.

Currently Debian Med does not yet contain any software which is
specifically intended to run a medical laboratory. We just provide a
list of Free Software that might be used and which might be included
into Debian at a later point in time provided somebody is willing to
take over the packaging work.
